Venezuela is the 33rd largest country, out of 250. Considering the size, Venezuela has a well amount of natural resources. Venezuela is bordering the Caribbean Sea, which gives it access to over sea trading. The "land" resource can be considered a strength for Venezuela. It has many natural resources.
For to its size, Venezuela has a large population of people. Most of the population can read and write but they don't have a long school life. Even though Venezuela has a low population growth rate, compared to other countries, the life expectancy of this country makes for a good amount of workers for the work force. The "labor" resource is both a strength and weakness because the population is relatively large who have a pretty long life expectancy, but it is a weakness because the citizens don't get a proper education. Even though, Venezuela has many airports over 200 of them aren't even paved. This country has many roadways but not even half are paved. It has potential for great airports and roadways but there are no regulations from the government. Venezuela has little technological infrastructure. The "capital" resource is a weakness for Venezuela. Venezuela has a large and educated population, and many natural resources. Even though Venezuela has all these resources, it doesn't have a good economy for entrepreneurs to open a business. Venezuela's economy is very repressed and is the 174th freest country out of 179. |
